Menschen, die ihre Filme auf DVD meist aus dem englischsprachigen Ausland beziehen, dürften durchaus vertraut sein mit jenen weißen Kästchen, die auf der Rückseite der Hülle prangen, und die darüber informieren, ob und für welches Alter (U [Universal], PG [Parental guidance], 15, 18...) ein Film beschränkt ist. Das Problem beginnt ab dem Punkt, wo ein Grund dafür angeführt wird, und wer kurzfristig gefunden wird, diesen in sowenig Wörtern wie möglich zu formulieren.

(Alle eingefügten Fantasieszenen (v.a. John Paul Jones mit Gummimaske und Robert Plant als Ritter) sind grauenhaft, grausam allerdings ist nur die Eingangssequenz, in der Manager Peter Grant als 30s-Hitman eine Abendgesellschaft finsterer Herren über den Haufen schießt.)

#2 -- Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte, 1964, Regie: Robert Aldrich



(Eine abgehackte Hand, ein abgehackter Kopf, dann wieder die Hand und wieder der Kopf, usw usf. moderate bloody violence eben.)

#1 -- The Lost Weekend, 1945, Regie: Billy Wilder



(Ray Milland sauft sich um den Verstand und alles was den Damen und Herren dazu einfällt ist PG? Die Begründung ist fast schon herzig skurril.)
